About Alex

Childhood

ALex grew up in the Edgewood section of Cranston raised by a single mom.  He was very independent. In Junior High School, he began to become socially disconnected, spending time alone and making poor decisions.

Alex was a good student, graduating from Cranston East and talented football player.  Unfortunitly it wasn't enough to steer Alex from the path he was headed.

Adulthood

Alex began graduating from poor decision to poor decision.  He got involved with people whom he thought were his friends.  The longer he stayed involved, the harder it was to get out and soon it was too late.

After turning himself in to the police at the age of 37, Alex was sentenced to serve 35 years for Murder II at the Adult Correctional Institution in Cranston, RI.

During his imprisonment, Alex transformed from a socially disconnected encumbrance of society into a pillar and beacon of rehabilitation with a crystal clear understanding of crime and its polarizing effect of victimization.

Alex wanted to use his time to educate himself and make sure that when he got out he would not repeat the same mistakes knowing that the only way to inoculate people from his past was to educate himself today.

Today
